dvdit5.2 won't launch

jd3

Question

Haven't used DVDit for a while. Now when I try to open it I get a Runtime Error. I tried to reinstall but when I try to run dvditenu.exe I get strange message like, The folder path 'My Pictures' contains an invalid character. The folder name has never changed, it says My Pictures. I tried to uninstall and I get the same message. I'm running on a Toshiba laptop P4 2.4, 512 MB DDR, WindowsXP Home. Any help greatly appreciated.

Try the following to resolve the issue.

Go to your start menu and open "Run".

Next, copy and paste or type the following command into the Open window:

"regsvr32 msxml3.dll" (w/out the quotes).

Next, you should receive a message about a file registering successfully.

Try and launch the application again and see if the issue is resolved. If it is not, continue to try the following suggestions.

I recommend you go to Control Panel, Add/remove programs, and uninstall Sonic update manager. Although you would usually get updates through this program, all updates are available through our website. Try to launch.

If these suggestions don't work, try a clean install:
