 So sorry, i have Roxio 9, this should not be here.

You will have to give some information on what you are trying to do and how you are doing it.

IFO and wav are not video files.

The .IFO files contain information about the .VOB files. Your DVD player will use these to locate and sequence the video and audio, figure out where each chapter begins and ends, etc. The .BUP files are backups of the .IFO files.

The .VOB files contain the actual video and audio data, not to mention subtitles, extra viewing angles, pretty much everything you see and hear. They are up to a gigabyte in size and are numbered sequentially.

wav files are are audio files and Roxio has no problems using them.

I have recorded something on my dvd recorder, then imported the disc onto my pc. i have two folders now one called TS and the other i can not remember at the moment, anyway when i go to videowave to import this it does not see any information, this is the same with the WAV files.

In the Video_TS folder you should see .vob files. Try changing the extension from .vob to .mpg and see if that imports into Videowave.
