Combining mpeg files to create video for YouTube

SusanVA

Question

I'm new to Roxio and just want to use it (Cinemagic?) to combine 2 mpeg files to create a single video for upload to YouTube. In the CineMagic Assistant, I click on "add videos/photos" and see the 2 mpeg files that I want. each plays fine. however, when I select both by clicking on the video, and then the "add video/photo" button, I get returned to the Cinemagic Assistant screen which is just a blank screen which says "no videos/photos in production" and the "next" button at the bottom is grayed out. so it appears that, for some reason, it didn't add the videos, but I'm not getting any error message. what am I doing wrong?

Try using Roxio Buzz to upload them. It will take the mpg files and do the conversion once you have then togeter in VideoWave and output to mpg files.

Cancel that; I just read that there are some compatibility problems.
