Problem with zoom in playback.. Please help.

Love_Child

Question

So, no matter what I do, when I burn a dvd(I have no problems burning anything) but when I play the dvd in my dvd player, the video is zoomed in on the tv. And this is not good because I am burning stuff with text at the bottem on the video(subs and other various things). I have tried all of the zoom effects on the dvd player to make sure it wont allow me to zoom out, but it wont. I can't find an option on MyDVD to fix the problem. Please help me! With the way it it now it's everything I burn is zoomed in about 25% and cuts off all the egdes, top sides and bottom. Thank you.

I have the same problem with all the slide shows, either created with Roxie software or photos on my Apple Ipod. It has to do with the original sizing of the photo and the aspect ratio of the TV. I think what is going on is that the TV does the best it can to size the picture to fit the screen. There are differect technologies involved between the computer and the TV, i.e Pixels vs lines. I'll have to play around with resizing my pics to see which aspect ratio and size works best. In the interim, try pputing titles on your pics a little higher and more centered.

Hope this helps,

Fred
