burning cd

I have the easy cd creator that came with my dell computer and it has always worked, but suddenly it has stopped working. I'll get the error E800418c3 power on, reset, or bus device occurred and also one that says wait failed. Went to windows to burn and am still getting the same result won't burn for me. I can play a cd in my drive but it won't burn. I've also been having an issue with system restore that will tell me it's been shut down by group policy and to contact my domain administrator. Does this have anything to do with the whole ordeal. I uninstalled and reinstalled the easy cd creator. Kinda computer stupid here so any suggestions?

It sounds like you have some issues that aren't necessarily software related. It may be viruses, malware/spyware, or something else.
