My DVD, Edit Chapters

When using MY DVD, if I choose the "Movies" tab in Project View and then select "EDIT CHAPTERS" I don't get the checkbox for "Create Chapter Menu..." If I select my movie in the "Menus" tab of Project View and then select "EDIT CHAPTERS" the "Create Chapter Menu.." checkbox is available and I'm able to create chapter menus with thumbnails as you are supposed to.Is this normal behavior?

 

If I try to choose a different thumbnail it works for any chapter except the first and last. The only way I can change these is to Right click on the chapter, choose "SETTINGS", click on the "STYLE" button and choose CUSTOM thumbnail.Then I can browse to pick my thumbnail.

 

It's taking a long time to learn to navigate this software.I suspect that there are still some bugs that Roxio needs to work out to become more user friendly.

There are three ways to 'Edit Chapters': First select the movie. 1) Click Movie menu and the edit chapters

2) RIGHT click on the movie button and select edit chapters

3) Right Click on the movie in the Project View/Menus and select edit chapters

 

In all three instances, I get the exact same dialog box with the 'Generate chapter menus and link to selected button' option at the bottom.

 

Yes, there is a known bug with changing the first Chapter thumbnail. I wasn't aware of the last chapter.

I don't know why mine is different ,but as long as I can access, the chapter menu function I won't complain. Just hope that things don't disappear on me! Thanks for your reply.
