Transparent Buttons

Matrix

Question

Hi - the button styles available don't work for my creative. I've tried placing buttons using the text option but displaying only space instead of characters, unfortunately the menu system substitutes the clip title in a standard font.

Alternatively - does anyone know how to add a new button style to the button options palette?

Cheers

This post was moved since it had little to do with future versions of the program.

Please give us a little more information about what you are trying to do. From the sounds of what you posted, I don't know if it is how you are doing it or if it is related to your video card.

Please post your computer specs in your signature via My Controls at the top of this page. Post the make and model number of your video card.

Are you trying to create a new button style? There are many button styles to choose from. I would suggest that you chose a simple one (like a frame) and add any image you want to create your "creative"

If you choose almost a solid color menu like "drop", you can adjust the color of the text to fit. I played around with it and got this. You can just make out a "t" on the lower right.

You could also drag the button into the TV unsafe zone but them you may not be able to select it with a remote. That might work.
