address book in Vista

Now a post like this is a easy target for the vanish act? Why, nothing to do with the host, Roxio.

But the description for the General Chat says:

"No Roxio discussion here!"

So just how is the post not acceptable? Sorry I can't help with the question. I am hoping to never have to run Vista.

If you go to the file manager , and select documents & Settings, then your user folder (your profile name) then into contacts, and they are located there

I'd have to agree with sisterscape this time. This doesn't mean that anyone will answer these kind of questions but no harm asking.

does anybody know where the address book in Windows-Vista is kept?

Tried that. Outlook express is empty. I'm using Incredimail and it's also empty but I have a complete book available when I'm using Incredimail.

Thanks for the courtesy of a serious reply. Some others are not so polite and helpful to their fellow users. The word "Community" is obviously not a word in spirit to some!

Anyway, It's not there either.

Yes Vista has some negatives but also some positives. Let's get practical. Move on! It's the future!

Maybe when Vista has been out a year. Moving on, just for the sake of moving to a new (infant) OS, is not necessarily a wise decision.

I think this is what The Highlander, told you.

Windows Address Book

Note In Microsoft Windows Vista, Windows Contacts replaces Windows Address Book (WAB).
