when i put a cd or dvd rw disk in my burner i can't write to the disk when i check the properties of the disk it tells me the file system is UDFRDR i can them put the same disk in my other computor and it shows the disk is a drag to disk file system and i can write files to the disk. I have been to the Roxio tec dept 6 times and we have tried everything they have now sent this on to their second level tecs

But I know its just a stupid setting problem can anyone help me out with this problem

Of course UDFRDR translates into a disc that cannot be written to… In this case I suspect that the drive is at fault.

The fact that you can see a Property of UDFRDR indicates you are running Win9x or NT. That also indicates your drive is old and my not be capable of writing media from a newer drive.

But I am just guessing by reading between the lines. Supply details. This is not a telegram, there is no charge for words.

I think I see "Basic False Analogy". Check the FREQUENT ANSWERS pinned at the top of the board for further info on that, and a lot of other interesting & useful info.
