tbrewst
When you're in Cineplayer and open Tools (little gear looking thing),DVD,Language and make sure that Preferred Subtitles Language has a setting other than none. I tried it on mine with Pan's Labyrinth. The movie is in Spanish and I got English subtitles.

tbrewst
I'm not sure what the problem could be.You tried what I suggested and that didn't work.I'm not trying to be a smart a** here but are you going into the dvd menu and turning on the subtitles?Have you tried this on a regular dvd player and seen the subtitles on your tv?Other than these couple of things I can't think of a reason you shouldn't see them.
