Question

Using EMC 9 Suite. I also have a TSST TS-L532rHA04. Just found out cannot burn HP +RDL (project is 75mB short of 8.5gB, with 8 video files in 3 sub-menus).EMC9 spits up errors at OaOOO00etc addr after the 100%processing finishes; and the burn begins ( or tries to). Then Roxio wipes out the readied project. Takes 11+ hours to get to the burn stage too! 2.4x discs on HP dv4000 1.6gHZ notebook, 1gB actual ram,80gB HD +120gB extHD. Just purchased EMC9 suite for this job, as had similar problems with My DVD 7 which came with notebook. No luck with Sonic/Roxio progs yet - so why can some freeware prog do a better job with no problems, and no software clunkiness. They would improve the smoothness, and running of their software if the progs were written in MC instead of these modern high level script conversion programming styles. Wastes bytes, and slows resources. Prefer MyDVD 8 over 9. However cannot do the burn job with either one of them.! Probably wasted some money here. Hype but not much help. Will try a total re-install before wasting more of those expensive DL Discs. Ho Hum. Appreciate the kind ears to a very frustrating experience.

SRI-CUT MYSELF OFF. USING EMC9 SUITE, HP DV4000 NOTEBOOK. 1GB ACTUAL RAM, 2GB VIRTUAL, 80GBHDD + 120GB EXT HDD. CAN PROCESS A +R DL PROJECT UP TO ACTUAL BURNING STAGE, BUT GET ERRORS THEN MY DVD PROG CLOSES IT DOWN. SAME WITH ALL SIZES AND BRANDS OF DISCS WITH ROXIO. SAME THING HAPPENED WITH MY DVD7 WHICH CAME WITH NOTEBOOK. WILL NOT BURN TO TS-L532RHA04. WILL NOW UNINSTALL/RE-INSTALL ROXIO AND TRY A COUPLE MORE +RDL. NO PROBLEM WHEN USING OTHER PROGRAMS - EVEN FREEWARE. EMC9 SUITE IS SUPERFICIALLY SLICK- BUT BACKGROUND PROGRAMMING IS CLUNKY.

First of all - 'caps lock OFF, spell check ON' is a very old rule

OK - did you update the video drivers from the graphics card makers (and not from HP or MS)?

Did yuou install the latest DirectX 9.0c from MS?

What graphics system are you using?

Did you try rendering to an iso image first (on the hard drive and then open that with Disc Copier to write the DVD)?
