Whats the difference between toast 8 and popcorn

What's the differece between toast and popcor? Does toast do everything popcorn does? I just bought toast 8 titanium and wanted to backup my dvd collection but i can;t because of the encryptions. I want to download mactheripper software but would like some feedback before i do. Someone please let me know the best way to burn and backup my dvd collection. thanks

Toast 8 does everything that Popcorn 2 does and more. If all you wanted to do was backup video DVDs and/or export them to some other formats then Popcorn meets your needs. But Popcorn has no Data or Audio window, has fewer export options, can't author a video DVD nor create a music DVD.
