Videowave Runs Really Slow

Any reason why my VideoWave runs slow? My project is about 44 mg with video clips and still pictures. I've defragmented, rebooted and still runs slow. I mean, just moving an image in storybook from one location to another takes about 20-30 seconds. It used to take a few seconds. Whats up? Please give me some advice.

I would bet money on the video card being below standards. The Geforce 2 technology is close to 6 years old.
