Need Help

Stephan Doshev

Question

Hi, Stephan here. I just bought Creator 9 Deluxe Edition. I can't seem to Transfer video from my camcorder to my laptop through it. I turn computer on. Open Roxio Creator 9 Home. I click on capture video, it brings me to Roxio Media Import I click on Video, then I click on "Select device or source to import from and I choose the device. It looks like it will connect but it gets stuck and/or frozen. And the light on the device (Dazzle® DVC 90 USB video input card) doesn't even go on. So I can't capture any video. Some one help what to do??????

Another issue I have is with ring tones. I have a Palm Trio 650. I don't have text massaging or internet on it. So my question is this. Isn't there a way to upload the ring tone to my cell with out going through the text massaging thing or the internet. My cell has palm program that has "Palm One Quick Install", I use this to upload pics., video, and mp3 to my cell. Can't I use it to upload the ring tones? I tried it but after it uploaded I couldn't find in my cellphone. What to do?

You need to install drivers for the Dazzle. You can get them from Pinnacle's website.

I know for a fact that if you want to use Xingtone, the only way is you have to have internet, but I am not sure about text. I know because I have tried for a week to get it to work.

But there is hope. Do you have blue tooth on your phone and access to a PC with blue tooth(maybe your laptop)? If so great. Here you go. Good Luck. This is how I do it and it works great.

Assumeing you have MP3 copies of your music. If not use EMC to create them.

1. Open sound editor in EMC

2. Open the file (MP3) you want to use

3. Remove all of the song that you're NOT using as the ring tone(Usually the catch phrase)

Tyr to keep it under 30 seconds long.

4. Once you have a snippett that you are pleased with, click on file and SAVE AS(so you dont ruin the original song)

5. Using the bluetooth capabilities of your phone and PC just transfer the file to your phone.
