remedy for track pause on music DVDs?

i know this a much discussed topic for live music fans - assuming that toast 8 does not remedy the problem of the 1 second min. pause between tracks [this must be technologically possible because i have purchased live music dvds with no pauses between segued tracks] are there other options, work arounds or software platforms available for the Mac that will address this problem? I just can't deal with the annoying pause between cohesive musical pieces.
