Creator 8 doesn't work at all, so I reinstalled 7.5. When I attempt to 'Add New Title' in DVD Builder and open the folder with my saved files, the files flash on the screen then simply disapears, no error message, nothing.
I heard a corrupted file could cause this. If there is a corrupted file in there, how do I tell which one it is? If it plays on Windows Media Player, it should be ok, right?
I've done all the usual, defrag, run NoAdware and McAfee, upgraded hardware drivers, etc. I have a fairly new system and run Windows 2000 Pro SP4.
The only new thing I just added was the DivX codec which solved my problem with Windows Media Player not playing some files and also Windows Explorer crashing when trying to look at those files. Could DivX be the culprit?
