james_hardin
John1son: There was another thread on this but the poster never got back to us… I have a LightScribe drive and would think LableFlash would be the same. If you installed the drivers and software that came with your drive it should simply behave as a "Printer" in Label Creator. That is easy enough to check. Start Label Creator and see if it shows up when you click File – Print. Please post back and let us know.
Johns1son
Thanks for your input guys. I ask, because I just bought a NEC AD-7173A labelflash drive OEM so NO software. The only software they say was shipped with it was that well known "roman emperor" I wondered if my EMC9 would do the same. I am in the throws of upgrading my computer, won't be able to let you know the out come untill after the bank holiday Dennis

cdanteek
Is it possible to use labelflash with EMC9 Dennis A look at the Labelflash website under applications, EMC 9 is listed. http://labelflash.jp/product/index.html The "roman emperor" is also. Only difference I know, you don't need to download the LightScribe or Labelflash software it's in the "emperor" cd
gi7omy
I checked on the Sony European site for info (the bit about this being a bank holiday weekend pointed me there) but there's absolutely nothing on that apart from a link to a 'howto' for Fuji discs - no drivers, info, zilch The last post I recollect on those had to contact Sony by e-mail for help - NEC just refers you to them but after that it's all e-mail
james_hardin
Here is one of their sites that has a software download. I suspect installing it will do all that is necessary to allow Label Creator to run with it.

labelflash user
I used Roxio 9 to burn a label on a Fujifilm DVD disk. It worked great. First go on to Roxio 9, then click tools. Next click Laser Label Disk. It will say it can be used for LightScribe or Labelflash. When you are finished putting the information on the DVD disk just hit print. It will take about 25 min. Yes that one works. The "Label Creator" that is the primary labeling program in this Suite (found under applications on the home applications page) should also work. Unfortunately Johns1son must still be on the bank holiday so we don't know if it worked for him. I'm guessing that it did or the poster would have come back and asked for more help.
