DVD-Rom for DVD player, PC and Mac with Movie and Data

No matter how I try, I never succeed in having both a DVD movie on my DVD player and .ppt, .jpg and .pdf data that can be read by both a PC and a Mac.

 

I may not create the DVD Rom the right way.

 

To have my VIDEO_TS file readdy, I create a first image disk of a video DVD with just a movie in it in iDVD.

 

I then open the disk image on my mac, and use it as it was a real DVD.

 

I use the DVD-ROM menu in Toast 8, add the Video_TS folder of the image on my project, + a data folder, with all files I'd like to keep.

 

The DVD movie is created but I can't find the data !

 

In another try, I did create a mac/PC Data DVD containing Data and Video_TS folder, but this time, I could not read the movie on my regular home DVD player !

 

Could someone advise me on this ?

Choose DVD-Rom in the Data window. Cliick New Disc and give the disc a name. Add the VIDEO_TS folder. Add the other files and folders. Click the burn button.

This is what I did... but unfortunately, if daa appear on the disk image, they don't appear on the DVD !

Did you click New Disc before adding any folders? That's a step that is commonly skipped.

Thanks ! It worked. As you said (shame on me) I had forgotten to click on new disk....
