pcdoctor
Does any one know how or if its possible to upload ring tones I create via blue tooth? Not only is it possible, It is do-able. Not knowing anything about your phone or PC configuration I will be a basic as possible. This is based on my experience with my phone and my PC. It may be a little different in termonology(the way things are worded) but it should be basically the same procedure for you. First off you must have Blue Tooth on the PC where you have the tones stored or move them to a PC with Blue Tooth. You will find in your Phone, some kind of command that will let your phone be "FOUND" by another device. For example, on my razr it is called "find me". On your PC you will find in your BT software, you will find a command call search for, look for, discover or something to that effect. 1. Make your phone discoverable by pressing the command discussed. 2. Then, from the PC, do the search thing to find your phone. Your phone may have a time limit for how long it will be discoverable so dont waste time. If you run out, just start over. Once the devices are connected, you should see the folders on your phone (at least that is the way it is for me) then just drag and drop, or copy and paste. I would make copies of your tones just incase they get moved to your phone.

In that case, you simply treat the phone's memory (ringtone folder) as removable memory card (like a thumb drive). Just use Sound Editor to make the ringtone and Creator Classic to copy it to your phone's memory. Remember that it has to be the right audio format for you phone to use it. Great Idea Skins dskibum, Just keep in mind, that the cable, if you don't have one, will cost any where from $15-$35. The cheapest place to find them will be at the online auctions(ebay). These cables will usually come with software (drivers) that will need to be installed. Their may also be some third party software needed, unless they have changed the ease of connectability . At least that was the way I used until I bought blue tooth devices like the phone and lap top . But once you get past the initial setup, this is probably the easiest and quickest way to transfer files. PS I just felt like using a bunch of smilies
