install copy & convert

I have tried a number of times to install the file I downloaded for Copy & Convert but each and every time i get as far as "preparing the installshield wizard" and the screen just hangs, the only option i have then is to shutdown the system and try again.

 

Any suggestions???????

Same problem using Vista only I don't even get that far, I just get the vista circle icon spinning and computer locks up. Once again it seems Linux solutions are the best.
