Final Cut settings

TomInIowa

Question

I am using Final Cut on a Mac to edit the hi-def video/audio.

I am using the compressor settings in "DVDit Pro HD disc playback compatability" for the video.

When I add just the video to my DVDit Pro HD project, it will play.

As soon as I add the audio, the video will NOT play.

What audio settings in compressor (Final Cut) work with DVDit Pro HD?

I've tried a few, and haven't had any luck.

Have you tried making a Quicktime movie of your timeline and checking the "make movie self contained" button. Doing this will give you both the audio and video as one file. If you want a seperate audio file, then export just the audio as a self contained file. Having said that, when I make a blu-ray disc using those settings, I loose 1 frame per second. Any suggestions?
