donin
Burning multiple copies is a known issue. The suggested work-around is to burn only one at a time. I am having a similar problem. I have a simple DVD of a grade school slide show, I need to make copies for 115 kids - I copy one, sometimes two and then get an error message. I understand from paul that it's a 'known problem' - I am wondering if there is a way to go back to version 7 (I think that's the version I had before I upgraded to EMC 9 - I have had nothing but headaches since upgrading. Part of the problem is that after I go to 'copy DVD' and I do one, sometimes two, I have to put the original in to copy again...it's going to take days! Any ideas? Thanks, Lauren

Thanks, Lauren Lauren copy the the original DVD to an image file on your hard drive. Then use DiscCopier to copy the iso file to each DVD. That will at least save having to put in the original for each new copy session
krull
Burning multiple copies is a known issue. The suggested work-around is to burn only one at a time. Need help! 2 different boxes 1 DELL E510 1 TOP end home built for video Editing and gaming Roxio Easy Media Creator 9 IT absolutely WILL NOT make more than 1 DVD from any type of a disk image (iso or c2d). I've tried everything. Burns the first copy then puks. The old ROXIO i'd used before (I think live v6) used to eject the first and when you put in the second it would burn it and so one and so forth. Worked wonderfully. What is the deal with theis new junk. If it's a known issue, why doen't they fix it! Any suggestions. I have a job of 500 duplications to make from a DVD I've created. HELP. gi7omy
Unfortunately it's a known issue - you have to manually click on 'burn now' every time you put in a blank disc, but then you do have to be at the computer anyway to feed it discs

If you have that many copies you don't even want to use a PC! A duplicator or a commercial service is the route to go for that!

Paul, thanks for the response. I realize additional info is required for a helpful response but Please realize It was the end of a long day and I was very frustrated and this is only one of the problems I’ve encountered since loading EMC. Thanks for responding. Below is the config. I’m working with. Present system Asus P4B533-E, intel P4, 2.0Ghz, 768 MB Ram, Win XP PRO SR-2, Over 400 GB HD, LG GSA-H22L DVD Writer NVIDIA Ge FORCE2 MX 100/200 I was trying to make 10 copies of a High School Play Video. Running EMC 9 Suite Ver 9.0.088 Using “Copy DVD Movies” When the Disc Copier window comes up you can select more than 1 copy to be burned. I chose 5. When I do the program reads the source DVD and then when it shows 100% complete it hangs. Really hangs. Task manager shows program “Running” but there is no activity, you can’t cancel. Burning 1 at a time works. Thanks, Bud
