Please, use a spell checker when you post; some of us older people can't read IMText very well. :) Consider this; if you can't take the time to create a readable and understandable post, why should people spend the time to try to understand what you wrote. No flames please, I'm just trying to help.

V9 is version 9 of Easy Media Creator. You posted in the Easy Media Creator 9 section of the forum. There may be another section that is more directed to your software/issue/question. I assume that you have MyDVD but it is probably a light version of the My DVD version 8 program that came with your camera. You will not have all of the applications and functions that the full version will have. You should have gotten a disc for the software program. Most likely, on that disc will be a read me file for that software.

This is a complex program and you just cannot just pick it up and run it without doing a little reading. Read this and watch the videos. You will not have a separate program called VideoWave but the video editor in MyDVD will work much like VideoWave.

How did you CAPTURE the video? You should have one main video file (AVI, mpg) for each of the movies you took if you captured properly. If you have a hard disc camera, you can copy the VOB files from a finalized disc to your hard drive and work with those files.

I looked at the images from the Canon site to see what version of MyDVD they are using. I don't recognize and of the screens you would see. I think that may be an early version of Sonic Solutions MyDVD. You may want to create a post in that other section of this forum or read some of the questions and responses there. My suggestion is to call Canon and ask them. With that limited version, you may not be able to do what you want to.

You may want to download and use the trial version of the Easy Media Creator 9 Suite in the V9 Trial section of the forum.. It is a thirty day trial that has full (but not all applications) of the purchased version. You may be able to use My DVD, VideoWave or disc copier in compilation mode to do what you want.

PS: a spell checker icon is included in this forum. It is the check mark with the ABC near it. If you don't have the spell checker on your computer then it will give you an option to download it. It would at least allow you to check the spelling of "vide00" and "liek". Your post above is not a problem with the English language but a sign of a rush to post. That's why there are the spelling errors that I pointed out and error with one word broken into two. Use "I" and not "i" and "you" and not "u" If you would have posted that you had a handicap, I would have cut you more slack.

First thing you would need to do is capture the movies to your HD.

After that, you will need to decide if you want to edit them or how you want to combine them.

You should start by opening the Help file for V9 and read up on Capture or Import.

Then go to the section on VideoWave.

Lastly for Authoring (burning), read up on MyDVD.

As you are just learning, it would pay you to get a few DVD RW discs to practice with as these can be used, erased and reused.

When happy with your Project, make a final burn on DVD R media.
