vanhollow
I am having the same encoding problem. Easy Media Creative 9. it used to work just fine, now I either geta 8004520C - error while enoding or when I try to start the encoding process a window pops up with "existing file will be overwritten" - if i click Ok [the only way to continue] a window pops up with "can not delete file" My cards and drivers are up to date mobil intel ® 915GM/GMS 910 GML Express and I checked for any updates - again it just stopped working and now i can not burn old projects of new ones - i've tried to get help from roxio live chat - no resolve. Just in case, I also tried the software render. Also tried to uninstall and reinstall Also tried to do a clean install but received a "can not delete shellex.dll" message when it tried to delete drag and drop. any suggestions? gi7omy
Your problem is the same as the original poster - your graphics chipset is not good enough to do the job. Have you tried software rendering as suggested?

My sympathy is with you, for I too am having this Continuous problem, and I have used videowave for over a year, I know it should work. I did have to rebuild my computer lately and that is all i can think off. I watch intently for a solution as wellas you do- good luck
gi7omy
That driver is over 6 months old - check with nVidia for a newer one and also make sure you have the latest DirectX 9.0c from Microsoft (April release)
ggrussell
geforce4 MX 440with AGP8xThis card does NOT fully support DirectX 9 and should be set to software render. Open MyDVD Click on TOOLS / Options There should be a 'dot' beside software If it isn't, then click software and OK Then try your project again
