Disabling associations

I cannot change the associations in photo suite as they are greyed out and clicking on each does nothing.

Do I have to reload the SW and use custom to disassociate some file types?

Roxio Creator 9 on Vista computer.

Does the program work fine otherwise? Just wondering if it was a bad install.

Have you tried using Windows to change the file association? Right click the file and choose Open With. I don't know why you can't change them in Photosuite. In fact, I was not even asked on my last Vista install any associations and I found it odd.

Yes program works OK have changed associations else where OK.

Now just curious why the selection is greyed out.

I don't know if a repair install will ask you again what you want to choose as default programs but I guess it wouldn't hurt to try.
