Burning Slide Show DVD in Easy Media Creator 7

W.Knudsen

Question

I did a slide show, but I cannot burn it to disk. After finishing the production (pictures, music etc.) I have followed the steps to make it into a "Video - DVD Authoring - Best Quality". It took some time to render the production, however, when I tried to burn the finished product to a DVD, the DVD builder tells me that an error has occured and it has to shut down. I have tried to drag the file to disk with the same result.

I made two other slide shows last year with the same program and had no problem burning them to disk. I don't know what I am doing wrong that it does not work this time. My DVD burner is working fine otherwise. I even tried another computer, with the same results. The DVD builder loads, then just shuts down. I have Windows XP on one computer and Windows XP Media Edition on the other computer.

Any suggestions?

I just read this post and reply as I have the same problem. I have both IE 7 and just upgraded to Windows Media Player 11. If that wrecks EMC 7, is there anything I can do to burn my slideshow? It goes through the process and all of the steps of burning to a DVD. It says the process is complete but when I try to play it, there is nothing there.

Thanks.

There sure is. Dump IE 7 and WMP 11. I don't see how you even got DVD Builder to show your slide show.

Thank you. I figured that out upon further reading on this forum. I should have left well enough alone.
