Larry
The only Roxio/Sonic product that I know of that has some form of encryption ability is their DVDit authoring software.
Liqvid
I believe that DVDit can only copy protect and region code dvds that are outputted in DLT format for mass replication. I don't think it can do it on your standard DVD+/-R media.

I don't think it can do it on your standard DVD+/-R media. Yep, that's true for the CSS and Macrovison protection. There's the 3rd one, called CGSM, that adds a flag to the video stream when burning to disc or writing to DLT. However, per user guide, many DVD players do not respect the CGMS flag. I've also read a lot posts stating how pointless it is to encrypt considering how easy it is to decrypt the DVDs. I've been asked to do video/picture presentations for different occasions for friends and family, (for a price) and at every occasion I hear people asking for copies of the presentation. I offer these at a very ruduced price as it, but some people say they just want a "copy". Anyway, that's why I was interested in copy protection, so much for that idea! Thanks everyone!!
