One of the features that I *LOVE* about Toast 8 is that you can drag a large collection of files (say, your 32G iTunes Folder) over to Toast and it will automatically span discs (to again, say, 8 DVD's). I love the thought of it anyway, I have yet to get it to go through the complete set without fail.
In 8.0, it wasnt uncommon for it to freeze (especially on the Verify pass) early in the burn set. Upgrading to 8.01 made it at least eject some bad media (bad passes on the verify) and re-burn that DVD. However, I have YET to get it to burn all the way through the complete set of DVD's without it freezing -- always on the verify pass of an arbitrary disc (gets about 30% done and sits forever).
I'm on a G5 2.0g DP, using a Sony 8x external DVD-DL connected via FW. 10.4.9, 3Gb Ram. 16x media (burns at 8x max on the drive, of course).
