Xingtone is part of the EMC9 package; you don't need to buy Xingtone if you purchased the Suite.

I purchased EMC9 package. Used Xingtone to create ringtones. Went to use again and it says I need to purchase a serial number to use??? Any ideas? Thanks!

It appears taht we are just out of luck and have to purchase a serial number. I ran through the ticket system and ROXIO keeps closing it saying they do not support. I go to Xingtones and they say they do not support Roxio installed programs. If I call Roxio it cost $35.00

Ah, sorry to hear that.

To lighten the mood, does it cost less to buy the serial # vs calling Roxio?

 

But, yea, this is where the situation gets sticky, the supplier would blame the supplee for issues and the vice versa would occur.

so you used it and it was working fine then you had problem... did you use any reg cleaner (or Norton/McAfee software) or have it installed? Since it WAS working without serial number, something propbably removed that value... reinstall?

It would be cheeper to buy a data cable on ebay and use roxio's sound editor.
