Burning Problem

walterharry

Question

HP Pavilion 4100Y

250GB 7200 rpm SATA HD

1GB DDR2-533MHz dual channel SDRAM (2x512)

Intel® Pentium® D830 (3.0 GHz, 800MHz FSB)

256 MB DDR NVIDIA GeForce 6600, TV-OUT&DVI

Windows XP Home / SP2

HP DVD Writer DVDRRW GWA-4166B (Double-layer/LightScribe)

(16XDVD+/-R/RW DRIVE)

Using MyDVD9

Video created in VideoWave using TiVo input (OK)

Used myDVD9 to create project with menu. Project played ok in MyDVD9 preview.

Selected 'BURN' button; selected top option - Burn to DVD (less than 4GB on DVD)

Almost immediately got a error message:

Overall Progress (100%)

Current Track Completed (100%)

80040207 Error while encoding movie

(is there anyway to add .PNG or .jpg files to these messages. I capture error dialogs with Snagit8)

That error usually is fixed by updating video drivers and having the latest version of DirectX.
