Incomplete Burn in EMC MyDVD

Whenever I try to burn a video project in MyDVD, it never goes to completion but just lingers on Project completion 97$ and Burn Completion at 99%.

I let the DVD recorder drive continue spinning for a minute or 2 (at which point the activity of the HD is 0), click out of the session, take out the disc and it plays fine.

Anyone have an idea why this is happening?

More info please such as computer specs and more detail on how you are burning.

Some suggestions--update burner firmware, video drivers and try burning to an image file if burning direct to disc.

Firmware and video drivers were updated last week.

Im using an HP XP MCE2005 rollup2 with HP DVD Writer 840b [CD-ROM drive].

There's 1 Gb memory, 300 HDD, model n7260m.

I was burning 3 separate edited videos onto one project from within MyDVD directly to disc, in EMC9.

 

I'll try burning to an image file later.
