Problems with Edit Video

While attempting to edit the duration of a video in order to remove commercials...., I do the following:

 

Edit Video

Adjust Duration

 

**at this time the small screen titled Video Trimmer, goes almost completely pink. There is no video underneath the pink or any sound. I've tried to reinstall after doing a clean uninstall with no help.

 

Any suggestions?

Don't use that command. Put the video into Video Wave and cut out the commercials that way. I'm not sure that V8 is the same as V9 for cutting out the commercials. Read the post by the malatekid in the Tips and Tricks area of the V9 forum.to see if it applies to V8 also.
