Zak Attack
I have a iMac G5 (10.4.9) running Toast 6.1.1. I am creating archive CD's that need to retain the list view they were set up with. How do I burn a CD so that when it is opened, the list view is retained?
tsantee
Toast 7 and 8 have settings for this. As I recall one way to do what you want is to create a temporary partition (Toast Utilities menu), add your files to that partition, layout the window the way you want and unmount the partition. Now choose the resulting .toast file using the Image File setting in the Copy window. Another way may be to place everything you want to burn into a folder, get the window the way you want and log out and back in. Then add that folder to the data window. It's been a long time since I've used Toast 6 so I don't guarantee that my recollection is correct.
