using clip of VW7 in just-installed EMC8

Hi guys,dued to the problem i m having in Videowave7 i m thinking 2 install EMC8 ...but i wanna know ifi uninstall VW7 could i use the projects of my production(of VW7) in EMC8?

i m passing on EMC cause VW is giving me a lot of problems and i think i m not gonna fix em(as i asked properly in the right forum).

I remember having a problem using the production file created in EMC7.5 in EMC8. It appears that EMC8 (or 9) is not backward compatible.

 

If you still have your multimedia files, you have to recreate you production in the new version.

 

However, you haven't stated the problem you are having with VW7. You may want to resolve that problem first. Do you have IE7 and/or WMP11 installed? They are reported to break version 7/7.5.

 

Edit: Ok, I see your posts relating to VW7. Anyway, find out if you have IE7 and/or WMP11.

Only in the most simple cases (no transitions, effects, etc) are the VW7 project files usable in EMC 8. If VW 7 is giving you problems then you are likely to also have problems in EMC 8.

Mr myguggi u r giving me a bad new!Nobody is giving me a reasonablesolution 2 my problems in VW7...i posted them but in 40 hours nothing has changed in my pc ......

My problem is posted in Videowave7 with the title of 2big problems.......
