I would be grateful for guidance on a file management system VW 7.1.1.189,as I am just putting the date in front of the file name, when I try to edit upto 1 hour of video with a large number of files it is very confusing

I would be grateful for guidance on a file management system VW 7.1.1.189,as I am just putting the date in front of the file name, when I try to edit upto 1 hour of video with a large number of files it is very confusing

 

I use the date.... ie. 2007 04 23 Eventname as a filename.

 

Now if I have several clips from the same event on the same day, I use 2007 04 23 A eventname, 2007 04 23 B eventname,etc.

 

I do something a little different if I'm trying to put several different events on one DVD. I make one VideoWave production of event#1, a second VideoWave production of event #2, etc.

Then I assemble them on a menu in DVD Builder.

 

That's what works for me, but there are a lot of different ways to name files.
