RecordNow 8 Premier Uninstall Nightmare

Recently I uninstalled RecordNow 8 Premier and it ghosted all of my cd / dvd rom drives. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drives to no avail. Windows XP keeps giving me the message "Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)" even though the driver is there when I try to install it manually.

 

Please help! I'm about ready to throw the computer out the window I'm so frustrated.
