gulfpop
I can only launch emc9 one time without rebooting. This applies both to the desktop icon and to "All Programs/emc9/home. When I try to launch again, no response.
sknis
I have done all of the usual maintenance. Gateway 500X - Yorktown intel 2399 Mhz 768 ram windows xp sp2 Nvidia GE Force 4 mx440 w/latest driver updates Along with the graphics, perhaps something didn't register correctly. Did you have your anti-virus ON when you installed the program. Was the disk d checked for malware and defragged when you did the installation? You might try a Windows>Control Pane> Add or Remove Programs> Roxio product> repair to see if that will help. Again no anti-virus running.
gi7omy
Can you give us some system specs - CPU type and speed, the amount of RAM and also your graphics card details Also, have you carried out the usual maintenance of defragmenting, running anti-virus and spyware sweeps? gi7omy
It's almost certainly down to your graphics - the MX440 is an older card with only 64 MB of RAM and doesn't fully support DirectX
