i was just reading my earlier post on audio tracks.I found 2 ways that helped me--if the audio was longer than the slides i wanted, i went to timeline and right clicked on the audio track, and trimmed the audio to fit the shorter slide duration.Just click on trim audio and its intuitive from there.Click ok when done.

If the slide were longer i again went to timeline and clicked on the audio track, click trim, but then clcik on loop.Click OK and go back to timeline view.Run the cursor over the end of the audio track, left click and then increse the duration of the track--the song will just run a continuous loop

Im doing a DVD of a wedding that has 30 minutes of video with 36 scenes.Id like to use 20 different songs for the scenes. How do i adjust the lenght of the audio to match the scene length--some of the audio will be spread over several scenes, same song--thanks

To add to the suggestions in the other post......

If you want a song to appear on only one scene, you can add it to the 'internal track' and it will stay with that scene even if you move it.

To spread it over more than one scene, Walt (myguggi)'s suggestion works best.
