I have added several video clips pulled off of home move dvds to a videowave9 production and have trimmed them to where I want them. When I try to move them around to other panel locations or even simply clicking on them or scrolling back and forth to them using the arrow keys when it gets to some of them I get the famous Microsoft error that says the program has encountered an error and has to close and throws me out of the program. (What is weird is that it randomly does this to different video clips.) I was getting this error when trying to trim certain video clips that I had successfully imported and added to the production as well. Why is this program so touchy doing just the basics? I am using a brand new Toshiba laptop with WindowsXP pro on it. Core2Duo processor, 1 GB ram, onboard Intel display Chipset with 256 mb of RAM on top of the system's 1 GB or RAM. The video driver is the latest available, and DirectX version is 9c. I am even opening VideoWave9 directly instead of doing it from the MediaCreator9 icon on the desktop. What am I doing wrong? What can I do. I am getting desperate because this production is for my twin daughter's high school graduation party and it is a surprise. All I want to do is have these several video clips and some still photos in a production with a transition theme. Audio is not even an issue because the volume will be turned off anyway. I worried that if it is crashing doing these basic functions that it will do it during the rendering/encoding process and then I'll be toast. Please help asap!!!
