File extension

Question

I had one project going in EMC8, and wanted to do a quick DVD burn of a movie. Decided to use Windows Movie Maker (never used it before), got video captured, edited, added a bit of music and when all done, found out it only burns to CDs not DVDs. Couldn't believe it. It is saved with a ".mswmm" extension and I am not that savvy on saving it in JPEG - if possible. I'll never do that again. Any suggestions???? Would like to somehow get it in EMC8 to burn. Thanks once again. MK

Output your WMM project as DV-AVI:

1 Open WMM and load your project

2 Choose File>Save Movie File.

3 Follow instructions for naming the file and location

4 Choose DV-AVI

The final movie output will have AVI as file extension. Use the compilation tab of Disc Copier to select that file and burn to DVD.

I overlooked a couple of steps: :(

5 Step 4 should create a video file with AVI as file extension

6 Open MyDVD. Select File>DVD, no menus. Do this if you don't want to create a menu

7 Bring in the AVI file by selecting the Add New Movie

8 Burn the movie by clicking the Burn icon (either to an image file or video-folder set)

9 Use Disc Copier (CD & DVD Copy tab) to burn the image file or the video-folder set created in step 8 above.

Good luck!
