Another VideoWave question

Question

I am wondering if there is a posting or a document explaining which format to use when saving the videos when using Video Wave? I want to save my TIVO file so I can watch them in my DVD player or convert them for use in my PSP.

When I first got my TIVO files working so I could edit out the commercials it was saving them as an MP4. Then I tried saving one for the PSP. Now I don’t see that same MP4 setting that it saved the original TIVO files. If I look at the properties on the files I have saved, none of the options listed in Video Wave match those properties.

I am looking for a brief description on which formats are best for what use.

I am using EMC9.

To be played in a regular DVD player, the disc must be video DVD unless you have a DVD player that also supports DivX. I haven't seen a player that supports MPEG 4 yet although it wouldn't surprise me if there was one.

At the moment, all video DVDs are burned with MPEG 2. Not sure what format the PSP uses, but I think it is a MPEG 4 format.
