Chapters and Files issue, please help.

Question

hi everyone, the problem Im having is that Im trying to add multiple files on to DVD it Pro; the thisg is that i want all those multiple files to be added in the same timeline altogether to make a full movie.

I add the files, but every file is treated with a Chapter 1 at the beginning; thats not what Im looking for because when I hit reverse on the remote, it takes me back to the beginning of that specific file, it doesnt cross back to the rest of the movie, and when I click return to previous chapter, it takes me back to the whole beginning of that other file, its does every separate files with a chapter one I think, all Im looking for is a chapter 1 only in the beginning.

I hope I make sense. Thanks.

I haven't tried doing this, but ...

have you tried adding all the separate files into one playlist?

Hi, hey I tried that; but it seems to not work too, I don't know I'm getting sort of discouraged with this program because I also had to disable my CD drive just to get the program to load, I'm not saying it doesn't have good things, but it can get complicated.... its like when you try to reach the other side, but there is a swamp in between before you reach it.

This is not the program for trying to reconstruct a movie, that is best served by video editor. It has never claimed to be a video editor, it is a DVD and Blu-ray authoring program. DVDit Pro HD creates multiple VTS titles and the DVD specification says that you can't skip backwards across VTS.

Edit your video together, import it into the program and place your chapter points. Perhaps video redo would help you out.

thanks for the explanation.
