Audio Sync

I have been using EMC9 for a few months and after a few problems at the start it has been working acceptably up until last week. I downloaded the latest Vista update and now my sound is so out of sync as to be unusable. I keep hoping that the promised update will fix it, otherwise at the moment it is unusable.

 

I have recorded 105 DVDs since getting the program without trouble, but I have now recorded 4 that are all as bad. The original recordings made with Media Centre are perfect when played, so it must be something effecting EMC9 from the windows update.

After deciding to wait for the update (!) until wasting any more disks, I gave it another try today and it is working again!

 

I don't know if I have had another windows update that has fixed the problem or if it was in actuality something else causing the problem, but either way I have now burnt another three DVDs without problem.

 

The one thing I do know is that I have not had an update for EMC9, so like everybody else I am still waiting!

Do you know what the "latest Vista update" that you installed is?

Since they are automatic there may be one or more since the one that seemed to cause it.

 

However the last was CAPICOM KB931906 (whatever that is) and WINDOWS KB936824

It's been a while since I got an update for Vista that was anything but a Windows Defender definition update.I'll have to take a look.

 

Ok,I checked and I don't have the first update you have.The second one is an update about iPod's.One that may be suspicious is KB929685.This dealt with audio.The date I have is 5/22.
