I believe that means that the downloaded file is corrupt, and you have to download it again.

You will need to contact roxio support, as I did. they will e-mail you a link to a sonic server to download your version. the old server from what I was told is no longer working.

Ok guys this is where I am at...I deleted the file and re-downloaded it from the element 5 site they tell me I have to get it from...Same problem...It downloads and when I try and open it, it is telling me that it is not a valid win32 application....I tried to contact element5 and they are telling me I have to contact Roxio directely. I went to there site and it says it is going to cost me $35 to call them....They have a free chat option but never anyone there...Not sure what to do...Someone on here posted a link that I can go to but for some reason it is not recognizing my email address and credit card number....Does anyone have any other ideas as to what I can do....Dont really want to pay $35 to fix the problem....Dont think I should have to pay for a fix....Any help would be greately appreciated....

Thanks, John

There is normally no charge if you are having installation problems. Its a poor idea to list your e-mail address in forums, all sorts of spammers, etc. search the forums for addresses.

You WILL NOT be billed for the call to Tech Support. You'll get to talk to a real person before any billing happens and this is not a billable issue.

So please call them.
