golinux
MS antics are always good for a laugh (but it 's not really funny). Google Complains About Microsoft's Vista
Guest ml
No, it's not very funny. But since Vista 'breaks' most existing programs on a computer, that report shouldn't surprise us. One would think that they're trying to eliminate the competition.
REDWAGON
Microsoft has been trying it's best to eliminate any competition for years now and has done a pretty good job of it. They have always been way bigger in size than any other of it's programming competitors and now I think Google is getting to be right up there. And if they (Google) continue their rise to being the top dog, them Microsoft might just have to take a back seat. Frank...

gi7omy
Years back in the days of steam computers (aka XTs) the 'standard' was LIM (Lotus, Intel Microsoft) - Lotus for the spreadsheet and apps, Intel for the CPU and MS for the OS. Look what happened to Lotus. Again, back then with Windows 3.x, the browser was Netscape - remember what happened there anyone? Basically, if it's a 'must have' app - MS elbows it out
REDWAGON
And there are a lot of thoughts as to what "Elbows it out" means. Oh yeah, I forgot. We're not supposed to talk about "Illegal" ways of doing something. Frank...
The Highlander
Microsoft mantra.... If we cannot buy it, steal it, then we spend lots of money for no reason other than to kill it.... Competition? whats that?
