Mark 53
EZ Creator 6. When I load a CD in either of my player/burner drives, the program operates very sluggishly... start to play a track, start a new track, want to skip into the middle of the track by dragging the playback slider and the player doesn't respond for several seconds... then I press stop or try to start another track and the playback is now completely frozen. Running on a Dell 8300 and Windows XP. This problem is preventing me from being able to rip CD's onto my computer.
lynn98109
What happens if you keep your fingers off the controls long enough for the program to do it's thing? Lynn

How are you trying to rip your tracks? No player at all needs to be running to extract tracks from an audio CD. Give us a click-by-click description of what you're doing. tbrewst
Another thing you could try is using Windows Media Player to rip the tracks and see what happens.
