Toast 6 warning window 'drive is busy or reserved by

Julia123

Question

I keep getting the warning box "The drive is busy or has been reserved by another application". I've tried to use a separate hard drive and a partition on my own internal. There is not enough room on the main partition of my computer for the video files. Any help would be SO appreciated. I am using a Mac G4 with OS 10 and Toast Titanium 6 to make a video DVD with 1.6 gigs on it. Everything is smooth up till the warning. Thank you!! Julia

This message is referring to the CD/DVD drive. Is it possible that DVD Player is open in the background?

Since space is limited on your main partition I suggest going to Toast Preferences to relocate your Converted Items folder to a different partition or drive. Then choose Save as Disc Image from the Toast File menu instead of clicking the burn button. When that is finished use the Image File setting in the Copy window to burn the DVD from the disc image.

If you continue to get this message I suggest shutting down your Mac, waiting a few minutes and starting it up again.
