forcing 4:3

Is there a way to author a DVD through DVDit Pro 6 such that a movie that is created with a 4:3 aspect ratio plays that way on a 16:9 TV screen. So far, when I create a 4:3 video it stretches out horizontally across a 16:9 TV screen thereby distorting the image. Can I force it to show up on a 16:9 screen as 4:3?

When you first open DVDit, you should get a dialog box asking the format. If you select 4:3, then the final DVD should play back that way on a 16:9 TV (bars on the sides).

 

Make sure you have the TV set correctly. Mine has several zoom modes and one squishes a 4:3 to fit the screen.
