Problem with Auto-Fill from Disc in Label Creator

I'm having a problem with Auto-Fill from Disc in Label Creator.

 

I've created a CD in Music Disc Creator. There are titles for all the tracks. When I try to create a label I'm not able to get the track titles to appear on the label. I'm using a custom style that has a titles smart object

 

I've tried several methods (none of which are working):

 

--- in Music Disc Creator - Tools > Create Disc Labels & Inserts (that goes first to Express Labeler, and then I go to Label Creator)

--- in Label Creator - Tools > Auto fill smart objects from disc

--- in Label Creator - Edit Layout Panel - Auto-Fill from Disc

 

I was able to get this to work earlier, so I know it's possible.

 

What do I need to do? Is some part of the program not turned on?

When you burned the audio CD, did you have the option for CD TEXT turned on?

Yes, I did select the "CD Text" option.

 

Hmm. Your question makes me think the solution could be to leave the CD I just burned in the drive. Is that what you have to do? It's not taking the info from the MDC program but from the actual CD?

Man, this is a mind bender. Decent instructions, even just a "Here are the steps to do xyz...", sure would help.

Know what you mean. Manuals (if there is one) and Helps are a bit short on info.
