Capturing with MYDVD9

When I try to change my save to location to one of my dvd writers I get the following message. Device write protected remove write protection or select another device. If I capture to hard disc I can transfer to DVD. What gives. Just about ready to trash this program..

You can't capture directly to a DVD.You need to capture to a hard drive and then use MyDVD to make the actual disc.

the only way to capture directly to a DVD is to use Plug & Burn but that only works if you are capturing from a digital tape camcorder.

 

You have not given much information to work with. What are you actually trying to do? What EMC 9 program component are you using? What is your capture device? From what are you capturing?

Hey Walt,question.Can you get to Plug and Burn directly from MyDVD or do you need to get it from the Home app?Just for my knowledge.
